6 Months Before the Wedding

The first thing to tackle is your shape. 6 months is more than enough to get your body looking fabulous in that dress, so if you have any zones you want tones, now is the time to start.

Obviously, balancing your diet and hitting the gym a few times a week is the ideal, but for busy brides, there’s a shortcut or two out there worth splurging on. Non-surgical body sculpting treatments have become very popular and believe it or not, some of them really do work!

Check out your local salons and find out what they have to offer. Cryolipolysis, or cold sculpting, can significantly diminish fat from the chin, arms, stomach, and thighs, while ultrasound treatments such as UltraShape are very efficient in the belly region. The time it takes for the treatment to work depends on the desired results, so it best to start on time.

4 Months Before the Wedding

Ever heard of permanent makeup? Beauticians have developed a range of techniques that give the illusion of wearing makeup without actually wearing it.

By injecting organic pigments into the skin, techs can recreate the look of eyeliner, lipstick, blush, and even give you flawless brows which won’t run or smudge for up to 2 years. Perfect for summer brides, and especially for those who live in humid areas, such as Florida.

The most popular treatment is definitely microblading, which gives you a your-brows-but-better look. Two things to keep in mind, though. Choose an artist who’s taken the best microblading training in Miami or in your area, so you don’t end up with botched brows. Also, make sure you get the treatment early enough to give your skin time to heal before the big day. 4 months prior is ideal.

3 Months Before the Wedding

This is the time to decide on what you want to do with your hair.

If you’re thinking about a new hair color, dye it early enough to try it out and see if it suits you. If you want a different style, get a haircut now so it has time to grow out if you don’t like the change and avoid a last-minute disaster. If your wedding takes place in a humid area, get a keratin treatment to prevent frizzing.

It’s also a good idea to start taking some skin&hair supplement, so that your hair looks shiny and healthy for the big day.

2 Months Before the Wedding

If you have some skin imperfections, you should consider getting a professional facial, as moisturizer and DIY exfoliation will give you glowing skin, but can only take you so far.

On of the most efficient facials that takes care of anything from acne scars to hyperpigmentation, is microdermabrasion. This hardcore exfoliation treatment will refresh your skin, but it does take some time to heal, so get it early!

2 Weeks Before the Wedding

Time to brighten your smile! You’ll be looking at your wedding photos for the rest of your life, so you want to make sure your pearly whites really pop.

Book a professional cleaning or a whitening appointment (or both!) and let your dentist do the magic. Alternatively, you can try an at-home whitening kit, but most of those take several sessions for the results to emerge.

The Night Before the Wedding

Finally, last but not least – get a good night’s sleep! We know you’re excited, but have a cup of calming herbal tea and try to get at least 8 hours to assure your skin is glowing, your eyes are bright and sparkly, and you’ve got enough energy to dance till early hours.
