DIY Make a Sunflower & Thistle Wreath

Sunflower and Thistle Wreath  

As you can see this wreath is great on the table as well as hanging on your door. If you want to use fresh flowers and herbs use an oasis wreath form and soak it in water before adding greenery and flowers. Be sure to place your finished wreath form filled with fresh flowers on a plate to protect the table.

Materials and Tools:

• 12" extruded wreath ring
• reindeer moss
• sunflowers, silk or dried
• preserved hydrangea  
• preserved ferns
• preserved and dried globe thistle
• flowering lepto or lavender
• greening pins
• moss
• green floral wire
• glue gun/ glue sticks
• wire cutters
• scissors

Cover your wreath with moss using a glue gun. Let dry.

Using greening pins start attaching the reindeer moss around the wreath form.

Use your glue gun to attach the thistles, Santa Cruz oregano and/or lavender. See illustration for placement.
