 How to make a Rose Ball Favor
You can use any silk flowers you want to make this door ornament. Keep in
mind that you want small blooms (like the rambling roses) and even smaller
blooms to fill in with.
MaterialsStyrofoam egg
shape ( 4" )
Spanish or Green Moss
Floral Greening
Pins
1 Yard of Double
Faced Satin Ribbon (pink)
2 sprays of
Rambling Rose
1 stem of Forget-Me-Nots
1 stem of Lilac
| Instructions |
| 1. Cover
the egg with moss on all the sides. Secure it with floral greening pins. SEE
ILLUSTRATION #1 |
| 2. Place center of ribbon on
bottom tip of egg. Secure with a greening pin. Tie a knot then a bow on the top
of the egg and secure through the center of bow with another greening pin. Tie the excess tails
together to create a hanger. SEE ILLUSTRATION #2 |
| 3. Cut off the roses from
the rose spray leaving 1" of stem on each bloom. Dip stems in hot glue and
push stems into Styrofoam egg, distributing them evenly over the surface. Cut
leaves apart and hot glue them into the egg beside the roses. SEE ILLUSTRATION

| 4. Cut blooms from the lilac
and forget-me-nots and hot glue each into the empty spaces. SEE ILLUSTRATION #4 |
