Making Favors - Champagne Glass Favors

To decorate the miniature plastic champagne glasses use tulle circles.

3/16" doublefaced satin ribbon
Jordan almonds
glue gun
clothespin

To make the favor above

1. Arrange all your materials on a table.  

3. Cut the tulle circle to the center only.  Place a few drops of glue under the part of the glass that will hold the almonds. This will hold the tulle to the glass.

2.Fill them with favor candy

4. Have your clothespin handy for the next step. Place the circle around the stem of the glass. Overlap the edges and pull it upward. The glue will hold the tulle in place. Now you can twist the top of the tulle. Grab the clothespin to hold the twist in place.  

5.  Tie the ribbon tightly around the twisted tulle- tie a bow.  Remove your clothespin.  

Materials needed:

Miniature plastic champagne glasses
Miniature glass champagne glasses
Tulle or Tulle Circles
3/8" white satin ribbon
baby's breath
miniature roses or dried rose buds
Jordan almonds
glue gun

To Make:

1. Arrange all your materials on a table.  

2. Create a champagne glass favor by first filling the champagne glass with sweets.  Place the tulle circle over the top of the glass and tie a ribbon around the bottom of the glass.   Add tiny pinecones , parchment hydrangea petal, milo branch, lavender miniature rose or dried rose buds to the center of the bow with a glue gun.. Or place a wine glass marker on the glass itself.  

3. Use your imagination and make them as elaborate or as simple and elegant as you like. Place at the place settings to add to the décor. Add name tags and use for place settings.
