In Victorian times, making gifts at home was a wonderful entertainment for the whole family. Ingenuity and imagination transformed scraps of fabric, paper, and ribbon into fanciful gifts. Wrapped in colored paper sprinkled with glitter, these handmade presents glowed and sparkled in the lamplight.

What to do...
1.) Using the silver ink pad, dab ink along the edges of the background stamp. Print in center of card.

2.) Decorate the square "present" with little stars.

3.) Stamp the thank you message at the bottom of the package in silver.

4.) Let dry.

5.) Using a sharp paper knife, cut a slit in the top and bottom edges of the square. Thread the ribbon through and tie in a bow.

Tip: Handmade birthday and thank you cards make wonderful gifts. When you have all your materials and stamps in action take a few extra minutes to make several cards. Tuck in some postage stamps, tie with a ribbon, and surprise a friend with a unique gift.
