Announce the birth of a new baby, invite guests
to a baby shower, or include a charming enclosure of baby's first
photograph. This playful card can easily be created for a girl by
simply changing the colors to variations of pink. Add a touch of whimsy
to scrapbook pages by creating a backdrop of softly colored Baby
Footprints to showcase a photograph of baby. Embellish the top of
the page with a safety pin holding baby's name or initials.
This simple, yet captivating card is sure to delight everyone who
receives it.
What to do...
1.) Stamp a background on three Tiny Tags using Crisscross
Background, Garden Patterns, Polka Dots and Pinstripes with Baby
Blue ink. Stamp a letter over the background you've just created on
each tag using Imperial Blue Ink.
2.) Cut blue and white paper to layer on the blue Tsumugi card as
shown. After deciding the placement of the safety pin and tags,
stamp Baby Footprints in Baby Blue ink in the desired area.
3.) Add the three tags to the open safety pin, close the pin and
attach to the card above the stamped footprints.
Tip: Be sure the background design has
dried completely before stamping the letters. Adding a small amount of tape to the top of each tag will keep
the tags from changing positions.
