Floral Eggs

Supplies

• 1-4" Styrofoam egg
• 10 Pressed Flower Blooms (1/2"-1" size)
• 6 Pressed stems of Greenery  (1"-2" size)
• Flower Press (to press your greenery and flowers)
• Acrylic paint  Ivory
• Glossy decoupage finish
• Gesso (find in art supply stores)
• Drinking glass or small vase
• Wood skewers (find in grocery stores - shish kabob skewers)
• Sand Paper
• Craft glue

Instructions

1. Push a skewer into the egg bottom. Brush 1-2 layers of gesso over the egg; let dry between coats. Place skewer in glass until gesso dries.

2. Sand the surface lightly, then paint; let dry.

3. To attach flowers, coat back of each with glue and gently press into place on egg. When finished, coat entire surface with decoupage finish; let dry, then apply second coat. Gently remove skewer.
