Instructions
- Measure the four sides of the box and the top of the lid using the ruler. Trim one piece of patterned paper to fit the top of the box. Trim another piece of paper so that you have two pieces that are the height of the front and back of the box, and add at least two inches to the width of each. (These pieces will wrap around the sides and be covered with overlapping paper to be sure that all parts of the box are fully covered). Trim the last piece of paper so that you get two pieces to fit the sides of the box. Run all pieces through the Xyron 9" Creative Station.
- Attach the piece to the top of the lid making sure to center it and trim away any excess. Next, attach the front and back paper pieces, wrapping around that extra paper to the sides. Attach the side pieces last, overlapping the paper from the front and back of the box. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the lid to measure for length, you will want it to overlap slightly in the back. Trim the ribbon to length, then run it through the Xyron 1.5" create-a-sticker.
- Attach the ribbon around the edge of the lid, covering up any rough edges on the paper and folding the ribbon in on itself to give the corners a mitered look. Take a scrap piece of ribbon and cut it to a length that will allow it to show from behind the label you have chosen. Attach the ribbon to the front of the box using the Xyron 3/8" Adhesive Runner.
- You only need to use adhesive in the center of the ribbon to allow the ends to lift away from the box. Use your letter stickers to spell out the desired phrase for the front of the box and attach them to the label. Adhere the label to the front of the box using adhesive dots.
