How to make flower string lights with silk flowers

Making Flower String Lights with Silk Flowers.

Add a tropical and festive look to any event with your own silk flower string lights. A touch of floral lighting that is quick and easy to make.

What you need:

Miniature string lights
Silk Flowers

Just use string lights and put a silk flower around each base of each bulb.
You will find that most silk flowers can easily be removed from their stem by just pulling on them. You just take the flower and place it over the light- slide it down to the base of each light on the string. If you need to enlarge the hole use a small pair of cuticle scissors to make a larger hole. If there is no hole at all you can use a 1/8th" or 1/4" hole punch to make one. Use several flowers on one light for a fuller look.

IMPORTANT: You don't want the silks to be touching the bulb so be sure to push the petals down to the base of each light.
