Here’s to you two on your wedding day!
-
Have a
wedding and a reception that will reflect your dreams.
Make your decor simple and elegant. Your reception should be an expression of your joy. Add color easily to your table tops with vase illuminators, floralytes, centerpiece mirrors and/or candles. See how to add color to your tables.
Silk topiary trees are wonderful to
use on the tables or to mark the entry ways. Use the topiary tree tops to make
and design your own. You can drape them in tulle, fill them with lights, butterflies, gerber daisies...whatever your theme may be.
We have a wonderful selection of quality silk flowers, garlands, ivy,
ferns andall at
affordable prices. Find battery operated,
led tea lights, or string to
string twinkling lights at volume discounts. Use the battery-operated
and led lights to light up your centerpieces and buffet displays.See this great project on how to turn wine glasses into candle lamps
for your guest tables.
Our candle shades and clear
glass vases are perfect to use to decorate the tables. Fill hurricane candle
shades half way with freeze dried flower petals or silk roses petals, lavender, sand or sea shells
(whatever your theme) and place a large votive on top and a glass plate or
glass pillar holder underneath each one.
Don't miss seeing the silk flower wedding collection. We are constantly adding new items.

For the finishing touch get chair covers with chair sashes in your wedding colors. Even if you are sitting on old metal folding chairs they will look great with a cover over them. We also have tulle and lame' by the bolt at discount prices for you to use on your tables.
Here are some other ideas on how
you can have a glorious wedding on a small budget.
o Make your own stationery and invitations.
This is definitely a way to save a lot.
Save on professional invitations by using Printer-ready invitations and
response cards .
Include the reception and RSVP information on
the ceremony invitation. Use invitations that
require only one stamp.
We have a wonderful selection of seed embedded stationery you can use to print
out your own invitations. Plant it and have flowers to remind you of the event.
o Decorate with silk flowers and fresh greenery. Combine silk
and fresh flowers in your arrangements and decorations. Today's silks are
unbelievable lifelike!
Use
silk ivy garlands and silk flower garlands to decorate. They are fully wired and
can be cut easily with wire cutters. You can make pew or chair garlands by
combining ivy garland, tulle and a few silk flowers. Florists will use three
garlands and loosely braid them together to make one. Use this garland for the
top of your wedding arch and later take it to decorate the front of the wedding
party table. Don't hesitate to add a few fresh flowers to it. This is done with
floral wires. Woody stem flowers will need floral tubes so they stay fresh. Start by having fun
and designing a silk bouquet for the rehearsal.
Make
matching napkin rings and candle rings (to go around your candles or
floating candle bowls.) by just cutting the flower garlands in sections. Ivy
is so classic, it looks beautiful everywhere. Use silk ivy garlands to decorate
your cake table. Have garlands of ivy wrapping around the vases of your
reception arrangements.
You will find basic (fresh and silk) flower
care and arranging instructions and several bouquet making projects you can use to
help you design your own. Today's
arrangements are beautifully simple and elegant so you will amazed how easy it is to
make a gorgeous bouquet. To help you with your bouquet making,
decorating the pews, designing centerpieces, you can
find all your bridal floral supplies here also.
For
ideas and inspiration go to Floral Design & Techniques
. Gather up your supplies and tools in Floral Design Supplies.
o
Make your own centerpieces for the tables
using silk flowers / fresh flowers and candles. They can be given as gifts to
your attendants or recycled and used later in your
new home. See how to make one in the Wedding Projects.
Use
cylinder glass vases to hold floating candles. You can fill them with natural
greenery, fresh fruit, vase gems, stones or faux diamonds. Use several different sizes
together for candlelit centerpieces. To get the fruit to sink - let it sit in
the water overnight. Fresh orchids look even more beautiful submerged in
water.
o Make your own headpieces and bouquets using
fresh or silk flowers.
Make your own corsages, toss bags ,favors, place cards and table decorations. We
have ready made boutonnières and you can easily make fresh flower corsages using
satin leaves and pearl topped pins to attach them.
Find all your corsage supplies here
Use organza sachet bags filled with dried lavender flowers for your toss. We
offer dried lavender flowers
by the pound .
Our sachet bags with satin pull strings are available in two sizes and many
colors. You will not find them anywhere at a better price. Make rose petal toss cones easily with 12x12 sheets of paper. Fill with rose petals and put in a basket for the flower girl to pass out.
Other
ideas for favors: Try filling
decorative bottles with our selection of bath salts. Use
sheer ribbon or satin ribbon and hang
tags to decorate each.
o Have the ceremony and the reception in the same place. It will cut the
cost and the inconvenience of transporting the wedding
party and will be easier for guests to come to the
reception. The decorations for the ceremony can easily be
transported for use at the reception.
o Have the ceremony and reception at your family’s or a friend’s
home.
o Have a morning or afternoon reception and serve punch and cake or
cocktails and hors d'oeuvres instead of lunch or dinner.
o Ask family members and friends if they want to prepare and serve the
food, instead of having it catered. Have them help
with setting up, serving and bartending.
o Have a professional photographer take pictures of the ceremony and
also ask
friends to take pictures and videos during the reception.
Leave disposable cameras everywhere!
o Purchase songs or cds of the music you want played during the
reception at itunes Or burn a wedding
CD with your selection of music put it in personalized cd covers
to give out as favors to the guests or wedding
party.
o You will find lots more ideas by looking through the wedding projects.
Enjoy!
