Instructions
1. Crop the photos to the desired size. The larger photo should be placed at
the top of the page layout.
2. Use the removable paper trimmer on the Xyron
machine to cut blue cardstock mats that are ¼ inch larger on all sides than the
photos. Arrange the mats and photos on the page as a guide for layout. If
necessary, crop the size of mats and photos as necessary so that they overlap in
a pleasing manner.
3. Cut a 3-½ x 11 5/8 (or narrower, depending on
the size of your photos) blue cardstock rectangle for the left side of the page.
4. Cut a red rectangular mat for the numbers and
a red square mat for a journaling area.
5. Using your computer and printer, create
journaling columns for the blue and red mats. Print the columns out on white
paper, then trim to fit the mats.
6. Cut a ¼ inch wide strip of blue cardstock to
underline the journaling square.
7. Run the photos, mats, numbers and journaling
columns through the Xyron machine to apply adhesive.
8. Apply the photos to the mats. Apply the larger, then smaller photo and mat
to the page.
9. Apply the journaling columns to the mats, and
then apply them to the page.
10. Apply the blue strip to the red mat beneath
the journaling column.
11. Apply the numbers to the remaining red mat,
then apply the mat to the upper right side of the page.
12. Creative Tip: The square mat area can be used
for a memorabilia pocket instead of journaling, if desired.
Tip: Use the paper trimmer on the Xyron
machine to create perfect rectangular photo mats. Lay out photos and mats on the
page, then mark their placement with a pencil.
